Case Study: The Bridge

Carl Wheatley, Managing Director of The Bridge Marketing Partners, had established the business and wanted to expand. He wanted to invest in technology to bring his team and clients closer to their projects and enjoy the benefits of remote working. We were able to advise on how this could be achieved and helped him to implement this successfully.

His question was, “How can I share project and business information with my managers, team and customers? Can I collaborate on project files, work remotely and share information?

Infineo gave him the answer:

Hosted email – means that Carl, or anyone he authorises, can access and manage his Outlook folders remotely.

Intraplace – enables the team to share files and folders (customer and project information) from anywhere with an internet connection.

Voice over IP – which includes Broadband and enables calls to be answered, transferred or conference by any member of the team on a phone or laptop. A very simple but effective routing system enables calls to be diverted to anywhere at predetermined times.

Support – Although quite experienced as a user, Carl is not a technician. He has added our support packages which means we installed and support all these systems plus three PC’s and online backup.

Business Contact Manager – we are now working to ensure this free Customer Relationship Manager application from Microsoft, works in the best way for Carl’s business.

Cost of £130 per month + VAT – which is significantly less than the rent on his serviced office and provides greater value for money.

Infineo’s technology has helped Carl to employ, train and work with a full time project and customer service manager. This allows him to lead the business and plan further expansion. He is able to handover but still be able to oversee all of the company’s projects and day to day activities.

His design and web studio use Intraplace to deliver artwork direct to customers and he is testing the use of Intraplace as an extranet to allow his key customers and suppliers access to their own password-protected project information.
